Amalgamated Security Sponsors Regional Recognition Awards at 33rd Annual General Meeting and Conference of the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police (ACCP) Hosted in Jamaica

Jamaica to host Caribbean Police Commissioners' Conference

Jamaican Commissioner of Police Major General Antony Anderson said he is honoured that the conference will be held in Jamaica from April 30 to May 4 and extended gratitude to the secretariat of the ACCP (Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police) for their support in its planning and execution. Excellence in policing across the region will also be highlighted through the Amalgamated Security Services Regional Recognition Awards Three outstanding police officers under ACCP member countries will win awards in the categories of: Top Caribbean Community Policing Officer, Top Caribbean Crime Fighter and Top Caribbean Career Move.

ASSL Barbados Sponsors Banks Calender Girl Competition

Amalgamated Security (Barbados) Limited sponsored the Banks Calender Girl Competition on January 13th, 2016. Winner of the competition, Ms. Jalissa Alleyne sponsored a project of providing essential supplies to the Geriatric Hospital. Amalgamated Security (Barbados) Limited assisted Ms. Alleyne by sponsoring directional signs for the hospital. 

Amalgamated Security Services (Barbados) Attends Training on 'Crimes that Affect the Tourism Industry' Hosted by the U.S. Embassy & American Chamber of Commerce

Members of staff of Amalgamated Security Services (Barbados) Limited attended training conducted by the U.S. Embassy in conjunction with the American Chamber of Commerce on July 11th, 2017 at the Hilton Barbados Resort. The training was focused primarily on ‘Crimes that Affect the Tourism Industry’ and included presentations on:

  1. Identifying Imposters & Fraudulent Documents
  2. Human Trafficking
  3. ATM Skimming and Business Cyber Compromise

In attendance were the U.S. Ambassador to Barbados, Diplomatic Security Special Agents, FBI Assistant Legal Attache, team members and shift leaders at Sandals.
