ASSL Barbados prides itself as the only security company with a designated Quality Assurance Department. This fact highlights the importance that the organization places on the the quality of our officers and the services they provide. We understand that quality is not only what is seen but also what is perceived and therefore deportment, customer service, mannerisms, professionalism, attitude are all factors important to us.
This department has its own internal Key Performance Indicators for our officers and inspections sheets and quality review forms provide the requisite feedback to ensure that our officers are always the sharpest and brightest and that in the event of lower than expected performances that it is identified early and corrective measures put in place.
On a monthly/quarterly basis, the Quality Assurance Team and Managers goes out to sit and meet with clients to hear and document first hand what the clients feedback and thoughts are on the performance of the organization. This feedback serves several purposes:
- it provides data for our KPI's
- it is used in decision making at our management meetings
- it is used to to reward our officers
- it is used as part of our stringent disciplinary process
As mentioned earlier, the recognition and rewarding of our officers is very important to us. The Quality Assurance Team along with Operations and Human Resources every month nominate persons to be rewarded as Officer of the Month and where officers are highlighted for excellent service that Commendation Awards are also given.
